These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters’ Website, operated by Joseph Wolfe DBA Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters, based in Boonsboro, 

Maryland.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.

Services, Booking Requests, and Payments:

Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters provides educational reptile programs, birthday parties, school programs, and merchandise.

Booking requests submitted through our website do not guarantee a confirmed booking. Our scheduling system may not account for travel time between booked events. All bookings are subject to manual review and confirmation by Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters.

Deposit & Balance

A 20% deposit is required to reserve a date/time. The remaining balance is due at the time of service, unless otherwise specified and agreed upon in writing.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept:

• ACH through Plaid (via Square)
• Credit/Debit Cards (processed through Square)
• Zelle
• Venmo
• Cash App
• Check

Refunds, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

• The 20% deposit is non-refundable.
• Any remaining balance paid prior to the event is fully refundable if the event is canceled.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability. If a new date is unavailable and you choose to cancel, your deposit is not refunded.

Travel Fees & Service Area

Our maximum travel distance is typically up to 2 hours each way. We reserve the right to decline bookings for any reason, including logistics, distance, safety, availability, or animal welfare considerations.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

• The flat rate includes up to 10 miles of travel each way.
• Travel beyond 10 miles is charged at $0.65 per mile each way beyond the included mileage.

Animal Interaction & Safety:

Animal interaction is permitted only under the direct supervision of Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters staff.

Touching and/or handling is not guaranteed and is always at the discretion of Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters staff based on animal temperament, safety, group size, participant behavior, venue conditions, and animal welfare.

At least one adult (or an authorized representative of the booking organization) must be present at all times. Programs are recommended for children ages 3 and older.

Event Changes, Delays, or Cancellations by Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters:

We may cancel, delay, modify, or shorten a program due to circumstances including but not limited to:

• Unsafe travel conditions due to weather
• Illness or emergency affecting staff
• Animal health, welfare, temperament, or availability
• Safety concerns at the venue or event
• Other unforeseen circumstances

When possible, we will communicate promptly and provide reasonable options such as rescheduling.

Comments:

Parts of this website may offer users an opportunity to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters does not filter, edit, publish, or review comments before their presence on the website.

Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters, its agents, and/or affiliates. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters shall not be liable for the comments or any liability, damages, or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the comments on this website.

Wolfe’s Exotic Encounters reserves the right to monitor all comments and remove any comments that can be considered inappropriate, offensive, or causes breach of these Terms and Conditions.

You warrant and represent that:

• You are entitled to post the comments on our website and have all necessary licenses and consents to do so;
• The comments do not invade any intellectual property right, including without limitation copyright, patent, or trademark of any third party;
• The comments do not contain any defamatory, libelous, offensive, indecent, or otherwise unlawful material, which is an invasion of privacy;
